- Select the CSU BREADTH REQUIREMENTS button
- Select the requirement you wish to fulfill from the drop-down menu
- Select Find Classes to see your results

More about the IGETC pattern can be found at https://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/admission-requirements/transfer-requirements/general-education-igetc/igetc/
To perform a substitute course search follow these steps:
- Enter your home college in the school field
- Select the SUBSTITUTE COURSE button
- Enter the name of the class you wish to substitute
- Select Find Classes to see your results
(Please note: You will NOT see classes from your home college, as you are looking for classes which can be taken at other colleges to substitute for the class you need at your home college.)
To perform a keyword search follow these steps:
- Enter your home college in the school field
- Select the KEYWORD SEARCH button
- Enter the keyword search term
- Select Find Classes to see your results
Note: Keyword search works in two different ways:
First, you can search for a course code. In order for the search to return results, it requires the full course code including letters (ENGL) and numbers (101). Results will not be returned for codes without their numbers. For example, the course code MTH200 will not appear in a keyword search using only "MTH".
Secondly, keyword search matches against full words only, so a search for "Math" would return different results than "Mathematics".
For example, to get "ECO201: Principles of Microeconomics" to appear in the results, you would need to type any of the following: "ECO201", "Principles", "of", "Microeconomics".
